Two Michigan Kayaking Trips Up for Best in Country

As a Michigan travel site supporting the best Pure Michigan has to offer, we often encourage our readers to vote for top Michigan destinations in national polls. Winning national awards can do a lot for Pure Michigan in terms of tourism and small business support. Today, we are sharing two great kayaking adventures that are up for Favorite U.S. Kayaking Tour.

The contest is put together by USA Today’s 10Best section. We have shared many of these contests the site runs throughout the year. Michigan towns and attractions fare well and we hope this one ends with a good result as well.

The Favorite U.S. Kayaking Tour has participants from Massachusetts, Alaska, Alabama, South Carolina, Washington, Florida, Wyoming, Hawaii, Maine, North Carolina, California, and Michigan. There are five that represent Florida.

Let’s show people across the country that Michigan has two of the greatest kayaking adventures you can take part in. Michigan kayaking is represented in the poll with Pictured Rocks Kayaking out of Munising and Great Turtle Kayak Tours from Mackinac Island.

Mackinac Island Marker

Great Turtle Kayak Tours (Vote Here) offers great kayaking adventures around the Mackinac Island area and the Mackinac Bridge. This includes kayaks and stand up paddleboards that can take you around the island and also to nearby islands like Round Island and Bois Blanc Island.
