Detroit Tigers 2015 Promotional and Giveaway Schedule and Guide: Best Days for Fans and Families
April is officially here, which means spring is here. For some Michigan residents, it means the return of baseball. The state of Michigan is blessed with having a Major League Baseball team in the Detroit Tigers, and also several minor league teams where fans can watch the stars of the future. Fans of the game will love watching their team on television or in person. One great thing for fans who attend in person is always the giveaways and special event days. For fans this could mean a free bobblehead, poster, or hat included free with the price of admission. With the Detroit Tigers 2015 season ready to begin, we break down the best giveaways for the season including what days families with kids should be looking to attend.
Last season saw big giveaways like a Max Scherzer Bobblehead, 1984 30th anniversary replica jerseys, a Justin Verlander Bobblehead, and a Miguel Cabrera back to back MVP Bobblehead. This year’s giveaways are very similar and vary in whether they are for everyone or only available to kids (14 and under in most cases).

Sep 19: Star Wars Night, enjoy a baseball game and also an opportunity for your kids to meet their favorite Star Wars characters in full costume
Sep 27: Anibal Sanchez bobbleheads for all kids
Bobbleheads continue to be a popular giveaway at sporting events. They are great collector’s items and a popular resale item on auction sites like Ebay. This year the Tigers will be giving away several bobbleheads. Remember that there is limited supplies and expect other fans to be just as excited and willing to lineup early.
