Photo Gallery: Grand Rapids Comic Con 2019

The 2019 edition of the Grand Rapids Comic Con took place November 8-10, and proved to be another great event for fans of comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, fantasy, animation, and more. We had the chance to attend both the Friday and Saturday session of this wonderful event, and today we will share some of our favorite photos from the convention. As always, we loved the friendly atmosphere, amazing cosplay, wonderful celebrity guests, and the plentiful entertainment options for children. Big thanks go out to all the cosplayers who posed for pictures with Chris’ kids and our friends Matt Roth and Todd Drenth. There were lots of great Star Wars props and cosplayers courtesy of the 501st Legion Great Lakes Garrison and the Tra’cor Clan of the Mandalorian Mercs. The gallery below contains our favorite photos from the weekend, including amazing cosplay from the Avengers series, The Dark Crystal, Stranger Things, Star Wars, and more. We also tried to include photos of each of the display areas for a better idea of just how interactive this event is. Highlights for the kids on Friday included getting to build with LEGOS with Darth Vader, and on Saturday the guys had a blast seeing all the Star Wars cosplay and getting to meet author Timothy Zahn.
