Arrrr You Ready for the 2023 Great Lakes Pirate Festival?

If you’re in search of a unique family-friendly event in Northern Michigan this summer, then mark your calendar for Saturday, June 17th when the fourth annual Great Lakes Pirate Festival sets sail from Mackinaw City to Mackinac Island. The Mackinac Island Ferry Company (formerly Star Line) will transport visitors on the Good Fortune ship so they can enjoy a day of food, games, contests, music, and more on the island.

From the Mackinac Island Ferry Company website: “The Mackinac Pirate Adventure Tour with the Good Fortune pirate ship will feature water cannons for the kids as well as a bar for adults. The pirate ship will be ferrying passengers from our Mackinaw City Dock to the Festival on our Historic Mackinac Island Dock #1, in the morning, with a ticket purchase. The Pirate Ship will end the day by offering evening and Nauti (21+) cruises at 5:45 pm and 7:15 pm, departing from the Mackinac Island dock #1 with a ticket purchase.” Trips on the Good Fortune are available at 9:15 a,.m., 11 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. The night cruises will even include a trip under the Mackinac Bridge!
